Jay,

The Olympus Camedia C2500 uses both CF and SM. As you know, accommodations for the microdrive were dropped because of power consumption issues.

He could buy an Olympus Camedia C2500 and an RCA Lyra with a 64MB CF card and use the card in both devices.

I own an Epson PhotoPC 850Z and get some 180 photos on a single 64MB card at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 with moderate .jpeg compression. The image quality is good to excellent.

The Olympus is the only high-end consumer SLR currently on the market. I really wanted an SLR, but settled for a 2.11 megapixel point-and-shoot because of the SLR-like features and because of my impatience.

Anybody wanting to see a photo album with the new Epson should send me a private message and I will send you the URL to my photopoint site.

Is SmartMedia manufactured by SSTI ? I own some SSTI Stock and would like some comments from specialists on this thread as to their relative merits/demerits vis-a-vis SNDK.
Thanks
