Always liked ASFD until someone on the thread mentioned the pre-owned rolex fiasco.....

I posted very early on the the ASFD thread that I knew some of the original ASFD team in Texas. Thru a phone call made <described in post on ASFD thread>, I determined early on, to my satisfaction, that the fiasco was suspected to have been initiated by a group of shorts. With the big move made last week, more shorts will pile on.
My hunch is that they are early and will only succeed in propelling it upward as the X-Mas buying season is just beginning.

With the huge gains made in the market and the continued good economy, this should be a killer year for luxury items. Stylish watches are American status symbols and Mont Blanc pens are among the most popular gifts in the corporate world. A great niche market. Another I like is TIF, but it's a heck of alot more expensive.

Watch for ASFD on any good dips. It may very well retest it gap, but it could go a lot higher before it does. I've known stocks to go 2 years before retesting a gap. jmo
