Yeah, within an IRA, CCing makes sense, as long as you're confident that the stock you're CCing won't collapse.

I do similar things to you: I have an options portfolio (90% money market, 10% long options), an income portfolio (bonds and no-risk options spreads), a buy and hold portfolio, and then some money for everything else (covered calls etc).
