Applix develops, markets, and supports front-office software applications which allow organizations to become ''real-time'' enterprises by improving decision making and corporate productivity. For the six months ended 6/99, revenues rose 9% to $27.1 million. Net income totalled $1.1 million, up from $398 thousand. Revenues reflect increased sales of Applix Enterprise and Applix TM1 products. Earnings also reflect decreased staff expenses.
