charlie - you are correct. There are about 12 million
shares outstanding and only 20 million authorized. Not
enough for a 2:1 split. They will either have to do a
special shareholder vote or wait until the annual
meeting in April to get more shares authorized.

It is unfortunate, but splits are generally overrated
in their importance by investors.
