The dramatic jump in short interest is probably due to arbitrage with INTS.

Buy INTS and short WIND. If merger is completed then your INTS shares turns into WIND shares.

No short squeeze.

It is remarkable that WIND stock has jumped despite the short selling. I assume without the large short selling WIND shares would be up even more.

I also assume that when the merger is completed and after some of the INTS holders sell WIND stock to take their profits, WIND may jump even higher.

At least, that?s what I hope.
