Alternative Fuel Systems Inc ATF Shares issued 24,373,982 Nov 25 close $0.68 Fri 26 Nov 99 News Release Ms. Jo-Anne Cappis reports Alternative Fuel Systems has entered into an agreement to collaborate with Ford Asia of Deerborn, Michigan and Tsinghua University of Beijing, on a program to apply diesel dual fuel management systems to Chinese made Isuzu diesel engines, installed in Chinese trucks, for sale in China. AFS will provide AFS diesel dual fuel management systems to Tsinghua for application and test on the selected Isuzu engine in China. As well, AFS will provide support to Tsinghua on system design and optimization. A three-party development agreement between Ford, Tsinghua and AFS plans production of 1,000 new diesel dual fuel vehicles per year beginning in 2001. AFS will supply critical system components and the balance will be sourced in China. Tsinghua University is China's premier university, that supports advanced automotive engineering research programs and operates the official national automotive test laboratory for China.
