he should. the bond will increasingly reflect the fact that run-away inflation is the only possible outcome of the global, and especially the U.S. printathon. expect soaring commodities and collapsing bond and stock markets soon...it will happen fast and furiously, there will be scarcely time to get out of paper assets and into hard assets.
i'm pretty convinced of this now...major supply disruptions due to Y2K will only add fuel to the fire once it begins to rage. you'll see the CPI jump to 6-8% next year....
