I think that they get licensing fees from anyone using the technology, including interface chips, RIMMs, and to the extent that the patents are used in ASIC's as well, but I have been wrong before...

I doubt that non PC markets for drams are 65% of total DRAMs.

Dave, or anyone; Another question. With the huge growth in the network server market, SAN and NAS, and the terrific speeds that are being realized in network transmission bandwidth, a big bottleneck forming is getting information off the storage appliance back to the client. Can rambus play any role here, other than in the client?
