To all: I just sent a suggestion to priceline.com. I thought it would be a good idea to bid on brokers' fees for transactions. It certainly wouldn't work for day-traders, but if someone wanted to buy 100 shares of DIS for their grandchildren, why pay big bucks? Could this work? You heard it here first, which is the reason for this post.

Regards, mr.bill

"Any thougths then on why the stock has been down? "

Well, hmmm....

1. The company is losing a tremendous amount of money each quarter.
2. PCLN recently did a secondary offering, adding more shares to the mkt cap and diluting any shares that an investor owns.
3. Along with the secondary, PCLN had planned to sell a bunch of bonds. But the bond offering was cancelled due to lack of demand. Is that postive or negative for investor confidence, would you say?
4. PCLN's lockup period recently ended, likely adding more shares to the float already, and more as time goes on.
5. Delta just filed to sell 8.5 million PCLN shares, again adding more shares to the float already, and more as time goes on.
6. This is one of the slowest times of year for pcln, because there is so much travel that the demand for travel services leaves fewer unsold tickets for pcln to sell.
7. For all of the above reasons and others, look for the Dec 99 10Q to be a nightmare.
