ADSP was amazing...I almost shorted it this morning in the low 20's...but had second thoughts and closed the order...that was one of my best ideas today...

This is not the right time of year to be shorting

Shorting is an extremely dangerous game...potential damage is huge...I think PUTS are a much better idea if you believe a stock is going down...you can only lose what you bet...

The really sad part is that many short-sellers were 100% short on October 28 and nearly wiped out. . .so some were trading ADSP overnight to try to pay back margin calls. . .the risky thing about playing low floaters short is that in a matter of minutes the can go to the moon. . . and you don't know whether to cover for the loss. . .or try to hold for the decline. . . honestly, I don't understand how they can make money long-term playing like that. . . I would not be able to sleep holding a low float stock short, for fear they would release news before the open. I guess that is life in the fast lane. . .

It is gambling. I don't play that aggressively in Vegas either. . . No black jack table for me. Instead, I just average about +$40/hr at the video poker machines. . .which is just enough to pay for some nice dinners, rooms, shows and other perks [I especially like the skeet shooting in Tunica], so we always have a great time. . . and go home with gains in my pockets and a smile on my face.

Everything in moderation.

Oh, my final tally of full portfolio gains on the day was +7.5%. . .about the third biggest gains of the year. . . with trading port mixed with long port. . .the best way to measure.

The day after Thanksgiving. . .the one day when stocks really do go to the moon. . . .the most volatile trading day of the year . . . and the most fun day for daytrading. . . no wonder they cut it short every year at 1pm. It went off EXACTLY like I said. . . . remember the metaphor of the 1833 Leonid Meteor shower? Message 12099083 That is what my watch boards looked like today. . . more momos than you could possibly ride.

One year ago today, I sold some BAMM around $45 per share. . .a 16 bagger from $2.75. SHRP, GERN and about a dozen others did the same.

I just wish we had about 6 days like this each year. . . .it can really do a portfolio good. . . .
