I put in a limit order to buy ADSP at about 3 5/8, but it never filled as the stock ran away. I never chase stocks, and usually that is a good thing, but sometimes it comes back to haunt you. Similarly I put in a limit order the other day to buy some GGNS at 3 5/16, and came back to find I had been filled with a rotten 100 shares - almost worse than no fill at all because I have to pay the same commission as for 1000 shares. Since the commission was free, I chased it up to 3 7/16 where I got filled, and with the stock now at 4.75, so chasing that one did work.

I thought today's action was a perfect as you could ask for. The small gap up was quickly filled when the specialist spotted a lapse in volume and ran the price down to pick up some stop loss orders, and then the stock fought its way back into the heavy resistance zone on heavy volume, especially for a half day. After today I'd expect to see 1-2 million shares trade on Monday, which should be sufficient to clear out the remaining resistance in this area. After 4 3/4 I next see resistance at just over 5.

Have a great weekend,

Carl
