cms,
Appears $50 will be a real wall to break through. I plan on selling at least 1/3 to all of my Compaq at 50 depending on the outlook at that time. A minimum of 1/3 will be sold no matter what. At 50, that will recoup 2/3 of my CPQ stock investment. If the outlook is bright, I will sell another 1/3 at 60+. I will evaluate what to do with the other 1/3 at that time.

I like the 28 times future earnings valuation method. I think it is right on target.

Stuart,

I don't see as far out as you do, but I agree with you about the next couple of months:

iqc.com

All indicators on this chart have topped out and just started to turn down; RSI, stochastics, MACD, you name it. I also see the middle low 20s in a few days, and I will buy back my Dec. 25 calls then. If MC finally decides to offer some guidance, we could go to resistance in the high 20s fairly quickly. At which point we may be waving goodbye to Captain Jack, and it will take a little less time to read this thread. There I would write calls again, because I don't know what'll happen next. Absent good news, I would settle for a dead cat bounce to the ~$25 level, and write 'em there.

Cheers, Tuck
