I think the summer dive is due to fund managers going on vacation and going to cash. I could be wrong but is it an accident that the worst of it is the week before memorial day weekend? Which most people consider the official beginning of summer.

CGarcia, I agree with the strategy outlined by you about pulling out in the summer just before the Inets begin to slip and then jumping back in again in say Sept or so.

But recall that this thread was a buzz with skeptics who reasoned and justified their pull out because they thought AOL was finished (free access, no broadband, blah, blah blah)
