Hi Lola, it's very difficult to explain the difference between front running and momentum trading because there is such a fine line, thereby making it very easy to rationalize. I tried to explain it to someone in simple terms once. I'm pretty sure she understood what I was saying, but I don't think I was 100% convincing.

Here's some way they rationalize their involvement:

1. Institutions trade on inside information and rumors all the time. They know the good news before the general public does and they know the bad news before the public does. A tough one to refute, even with laws against trading on insider information.

2. Nobody forces anybody to "pull the trigger". If you go to a casino not knowing the odds favor the house, who's to blame when you lose money ? The counter to this one is that typically, the person standing next to you making bets and suggesting what to bet on doesn't work for "the house" ?

3. The money comes from a faceless entity of the electronic trading system. You buy, you sell, you make or lose money. You never interact directly with the other players so it's easy to pretend that you haven't done the equivalent of telling them to "look over there" and then pick their pockets. It's easy to feel there's no victim because you never see them and because of point number 2.

The response I love the most is when they stop by to brag about how much money they made. Kind of like a gambler bragging about winning with marked cards !!!!!! LOL ! When they do that, they show their true colors.

Regards,
Chris

THE WORDS OF A CLUELESS PARANOID!!
You continue to challenge and BASH whoever seems to have picks that move.

I do not bash your picks so why are you bashing mine???
I really believe that you are very bitter for what ever reason and PEAR when I mentioned it @.14 cents looks pretty good. Fridays close @.40 looks even better in my folio.

Get all your pals to come and threaten me and bash me, but unlike you I, trade very actively all day and have little time to play the SI "SOAP OPRA" with you.

I have mentioned PEAR less in public than you have BTW--who is SPAMMING? You also continue to contradict yourself from day to day. That seems to me to be the words of a person that has little direction in this market.

Regards,

LS

P.S. IF YOU ARE NOT MAKING MAJOR GAINS IN THIS MKT --- I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU GET A NEW LINE OF WORK.
