Like the 25% parabolic rise of the Nazdung in the last 30 days?

William, I will say this in response to your post,

1) i rarely agree with your strategy on the i-net sector, yet, to date anyway , you've been right about most of these stocks and i have not.
2) james does seem to recognize that when the elephants go on to a stock, there ain't no point tangling with it...i too learned the hard way...in this i believe he is providing others with a good lesson, and he has admitted he learned the hard way too.
3) a guy on si that i don't like , named ahhaha (you should check him out) has stated that usually people don't do as well when they post their trades on si...he feels it puts pressure on themselves to keep losing positions or defend what they've done or race to si when abc stock has gone down 5 points to see what their cyberfriends have to say.
4) why do we all post on si anyway ? you have a well thought out strategy and are sticking to it. you seem to trade infrequently and i think you've referenced a broker that might be guiding you too. so why do you post ? why do I ? why does kissypots , or james or any of us ?
4b) i think part of the answer is to amuse ourselves and others and let off some steam. part of it is to see what others are doing. whether james has 1000 shares of each b2b stock or just a few or nothing at all is probably irrelevant, the concept here is that tossing $ at b2b stocks that were moving would have been profitable. sounds nuts from my end, but even i joined the party. i bought vert at 54 cause james touted it and sold it (way too early at 60) , i was a chump to sell early, but, hey, i took out $ 600 US out of a stock i didn't even understand...so, his mo mo concept worked for me on that one.
5) if people behave on si in ways you don't approve of, well, it may be because they have needs to do so. for example, i know a fellow who is over 70, he hangs around a discount brokerage for the companionship, he'd do far better trades at home without the distraction, but he needs the companionship. he talks to nobody in the evening, save maybe the check out girl at the grocers or pharmacy.
6) to repeat some material from above, think about why you post, you don't seem to need ideas from us, and you have a plan of your own...i think you post because si is like an office. many of us used to work in offices, remember, and most of the real people were effing pains in the ass. si people are mostly nice, partly because we really don't have to live with their quirks and idiot behaviour all day long. we just surf in, say hi, exchange a stock tip or joke and duck out. so, again, i think YOU use si for as a surrogate office, to have someone to talk to besides yourself, your missus, and your neighbor who probably is also uncooperative. so, enjoy the si office environment and if you don't like a few people in the office , well, don't talk to them. here , you don't have to. In a real office, you would have to...you are lucky that way...
7) and most importantly, sell all these overpriced inut stocks and buy gold, while you still can !!!

<<This thread has become the: "I'm HJ the WellConnected. I get thousands of shares in all these IPO's that you should try to get today, but you better hurry. Oh I just flipped them at a 700% gain. But wait, here's another one!" thread.
William, what I post here and what you read seem to conflict.
I get thousands of IPO shares?? How many times I have I stated categorically of my frustrations of not being able to get enough.
Flipped them?? Yes and no. There are several IPO's I've flipped along with another million other investors that's been buying and dumping in this IPO mania.
There are also some IPO's I've kept, hoping in the future that something real comes out from underneath.
Now, I'm not the first person here that you've called a liar, but I'm going to make sure that I'm the last.
You and I are not going to bring Glenn,Ike,Kis,Dave,Ek,Victor,Gst,TomD,etc, etc into your bull shit.
This is what your going to do. You'll call the broker who handled this transaction your calling me a liar on.
He's with Paine Webber, he has a 800 #. That will take you to the Paine Webber switch board, then just ask for him.
He doesn't know that you and I are in a conflict. As a matter of fact all I've told him was you and I partnered in this transaction, and all you what to do is confirm the dates and the #'s. It didn't make sense to give him the real details of your extremely childish game.
After you have talked to him, come back to this thread and report your findings.
Whether or not you stay on this thread after is your affair. But I want an end of this discussion.
Am I making my self perfectly clear??
