Jan and thread: I'm thinking about opening a cash account to trade some of these sub-$5 stocks that seem to be cropping up and giving good returns. My main accounts are with Schwab, which recently upgraded me to their "Platinum" service after I screamed loud enough about poor web performance and the length of time takes to get a warm body on the line. Their commissions are just too high though. Does anyone have any experience with other, less expensive on-line brokers? I'd be interested in comments anyone might have. TIA David

Methinks I should really read the book first to grasp the philosophy and tactics here. Again, thanks for your generocty.

I vote for proceeding without concern for any particular individual. The posts will be here for all to read at their convenience. Waiting on any particular individual to arrive just isn't fair to you or the others who are waiting with glee and anticipation. I recommend you proceed at your pace and let the questions float in at their own leisure. What you don't want to end up doing is trying to explain the basics to someone who hasn't read the book yet. That will not make the best use of Princess' time and since we all want more Princess we need to save the handholding for afterhours. Just my opinion......On Your Mark....
