I remember you making mention of DSP at "Tis..." about a year or so ago and was under the impression you had bought it. I made mention of DSP because somebody recently bought the company for about an 8 dollar premium above the previous day's closing price. When I saw the news, I immediately thought, "Way to go Christine!". Its unfortunate that you were scared out of the stock, but I can certainly relate.

There are disadvantages to playing stocks short-term. I gave up on VRSN when it was trading dismally prior to its last earnings announcement and sold looking for quicker opportunity. Big mistake.

I bought SIFY the second day after it IPO'd noticing that it was trading up after the day's prior close. I made a quick 10 points that day and sold because I'd rather have a profit now then wait til who knows when or chance it falling and have to hold for a very long time. SIFY hit 105 yesterday....never thought it would happen!

Breaks......

Well, as you well aware, I did manage to take one (okay, I admit it, I through a temper tantrum and blamed everyone but the real person responsible for my market UN-prowess). So I know it can have great benefits. But I got to missing a very good friend and asked Bob to reinstate my posting privileges (I asked my account be suspended by my own accord).

But I figure if someone is wanting to take a break, then they probably don't want to be bothered as it might remind them of things which may have been unpleasant which in turn probably caused them to want to take a break in the first place.

That is the way I see it anyway.

And of course I am glad you're back because I will rarely get this chatty with anyone publicly anymore. I prefer the private messaging option speaking for myself and exploit it to the max when speaking with a friend almost daily.
