Christine, I have given up on Orbital long ago. I think that the future in autos will be a hybrid fuel cell/battery electric. GLE is now building a pilot production plant and I think that Delphi will market the fuel cells for them.

Think of the travel trailers, campers, remote cabins, etc. and it is obvious that there is a big market for fuel cells to produce quiet electricity. I think that GLE and Plug Power will be major players along with Ballard, but I just think that Ballard is overpriced, and does not have the best technology. Pretty soon it's bye bye to those Coleman generators. All you need is access to propane or natural gas.

The cars will be able to run the fuel cell on stored hydrogen, or hydrogen that is reformed onboard from gasoline, diesel, or alcohol.
