Gustave,

You are quiet the idealist!

I don't fault you for dreaming of this united,
one-world government that people like Bill Clinton
and Kofi Annan believe in but the reality of the
situation is that the world is becoming more *unstable*
and violent than happy and cooperative.

I could write a book on how this world is becoming
more violent and dangerous be nobody would read it
because they would consider me a paranoid.

Anyway, there was an interesting article in the LA
times today about how the UN Mission in Kosovo has
become infiltrated by KLA spies and agents and that
UN personnel are begining to fear for their lives.
They believe that it is only a matter of time before
the KLA begins to attack NATO and the UN. I remember
Somalia all too well. I remember how WWI was supposed
to "End all Wars"!!! The fact is that freedom and
democracy are not normal human systems. They only
occur under unusual circumstances. With dwindling
resources and massive population increases around the
planet one can only assume that violence, death, and
destruction will not be far behind.

-John
