AutoImmune shares rocket Shares in AutoImmune Inc., a money-losing biotechnology firm with two employees and no products in development, more than doubled amid speculation on the Internet of pending news. Company officials said they plan no announcements. Shares in the Lexington firm rose 21/32 to close at 1 3/16 in trading of 13.8 million, 80 times its three-month daily average. Shares rose again in after-hours trading, climbing as high as 2 15/16 after the Nasdaq stock market closed. The stock was the fourth most active on US markets. (Bloomberg)

A rumour is also out there that they will try to find a partner to sell both the bovine myelin protein and chicken collagen protein as OTC "nutraceuticals", to take advantage of the growing demand for these types of (albeit "hoaky")remedies. The price fell a bit in the after hours trading on Friday. Whose to know what will happen on Monday. I will, however, follow the opening very closely. Either there are over 12,000 fools who bought over 13 million shares on a whim, there were 12,000 people caught in a "short squeeze", or there is something going on. Regards, and thanks for the comeback.
