Neenny,

Funny how people mispronounce things depending on geography.

My grandmother, God rest her soul, used to pronounce afghan, as afrighan, Pepperidge Farm products as Peppermint Farms, and Chock Full of Nuts coffee as Cock Full of Nuts.

It truly was hard not to fall in the floor laughing when she said it.

I love her dearly, still, and I will never forget her.

Have fun,
Phil

Dear Neenny: Yes, I am considered a Pennsyvania Dutch and was in fact born in Western Pa. and trace my heritage back to a captured Hessian soldier in the battle of Trent. However, I have lived in Florida since 1950. JDN
