BB... The actual article from the link I provided has gone and I didn't feel like searching for it, but my understanding of the gist of the article was that retail traders are helping to fuel the market at this point as individual traders and not just fund investors, the fact that the trade lots are smaller shows small money buys, rather than instituional traders of historically larger lot sizes. On a personal note, the last time I was up at the Vanguard main offices I noticed a very impatient lady struggling to understand how to transfer money from her mutual funds into a new brokerage acct. with one of the assistants... interesting My reason for posting was to show perhaps a less sophisticated level of participant piling into the market right now, perhaps more open to manipulation and less aware of a potential reversal, struggling to get aboard the USS Greed before she leaves on her maiden voyage into the ice fields... I'd love to know where the margin levels stand now from their already record levels last month, somehow I don't think that they have decreased...
