S M -- Last night the German Mark was dropping and a discussion was going on about how the US and the rest of Europe could assist them. I do not think there will be an increase real soon but the US economy is on fire. My guess during the 1st qtr we will see one of Uncle Als 'pre-emptive' rate increases unless there is a tremendous post holiday change in this country. Most likely he believes Asias rebound could take up some slack if the Euro became a bigger problem. My guess is Al would be happy to effect your #1 and do about anything to keep #2 from happening, it just does not seem probable he will allow this economy to keep this pace..
