Jon - I've never traded a stock with a volume this low (69,100 shares on Friday). Does this cause trouble getting in and out?

PLCO "expect a move this week"
Why?

Here is what I want to know. How can one reliably predict major breakout moves... in advance?

BACKGROUND: Each week my local newspaper prints Weekly Winners and Losers. Each week there are usually one, two, three or more stocks which have had a triple digit increase in share price that week. EVERY WEEK.

I am persuaded that if one had the right tools, paid attention to the right information, knoew where to look, and had a little luck, one could make incredible wealth by capturing one of these each month.

Anyone have suggestions? Do you understand where I am coming from? I do not need a complete answer here, but I somehow believe that there is more that can be gained than most people are getting. I agree with the premise of this thread... but how do you get there?

ed

Hi Jon, are you still bullish on PLCO? Looks like they got a $27M influx of cash very recently and it doesn't seem to have had much affect on the stock price. With the P's convertible on Dec. 29, and at only 3 1/4, looks like that may be the play. What are your thoughts?
