Boy, am I glad I already read it (umpteen times). The requirements for participation get more stringent here every day <g>

damn straight they do, or we'd have to read 1000 posts a night!<GGG> I'm reading Chasm now, and will add my name to those recommending the entire trilogy. So--reading assignments for posters are now the following: TFM (preferably R); Chasm and Tornado; all previous posts on thread. No wonder we only have time to follow a few stocks! :0)

PS re increasing requirements: this happens in many areas. Professor tekgirl will be coming up for tenure next year, and to get it will need a publication record greater than the entire career output of many of her senior colleagues...the ones who will be making the decision, natch. Can one say "hypocrisy"?

PPS one highlight of the holiday weekend: on recommending Chasm to my brother, who runs a small wireless start-up, he cracked up and informed me that they had, in fact, hired Moore et al. as consultants, and had gotten a two-day presentation of the Chasm Group's theories, applications to their particular business, etc. Well worth the cost, IHO.
