ADI is asking the street to raise estimates 20% for Q1, to .43-.45 on revenues of ~$470 million. Wow, business is booming! Congrats to ADI and shareholders.

CHICAGO, Dec 2 (Reuters) - ABN AMRO analyst David Wu said Thursday he raised his rating on computer chip maker Analog Devices Inc. to buy from hold and increased the 12-month price target to $80 a share from $60. -- In a report receieved here, said the upgrade was based on higher earnings projection and price/earnings assumption. -- Said Analog is likely to achieve its 25 percent pretax operating margin goal some six months ahead of Wu's forecast, and a year ahead of management's time table. -- Shares of Analog Devices were up 2-5/16 at 63.
