Thanks so much for responding to my list of new questions in such a highly detailed way.

Remembering that I question the efficacy of the questions for use by non-insiders and non-customers of the insiders, I need to ask if you are in either camp of the company you mentioned. If you prefer privacy, please PM me. I'm hoping that you're not in either camp, as it makes me think the questions might be helpful even for a carpetologist. :)

Your answers to questions #3 and #6 make me wonder if you misunderstood #3. The answer to that question ensures that a company does not take on too large a market. As Moore sez, "Pick on somebody your own size." You mention that the market is "huge" and that Zi is "small." As you reconsider that, remember that we're talking about the company's planned revenue and the market segment's total value only next year.

Or, do we need an extension beyond this?

Not knowing the company or the market as you do, the next "extension" would be at least 40% ownership of more market segments (bowling pins). Beyond that would be the tornado if it has not yet begun. Then of course would be the emergence of a gorilla.

Mike, I assume that in setting forth your corollaries, you want them tested. Do they work?

You tell me. Did they help clarify for you whether or not the company's executive management team is using proper bowling alley strategies?

Do they help weed out Zi? Or confirm Zi as a candidate?

Having read your answers to the questions, it appears to me that the management team is doing the right things in the bowling alley (notwithstanding the unresolved issue of the size of the market segment relative to the company's planned revenue.) In essence, all of the answers to the questions were "Yes." Had you answered "No" to some of the questions, the company's reasonable chances for gorilladom might still be in place but maybe to a lesser degree than you appear to believe.

That doesn't mean the management team will execute as well in the tornado or later as they appear to be executing in the bowling alley, but it indicates that at best they might create the tornado and that at least they will remain a gorilla candidate once the tornado develops.
