Another example.

Often mentioned, always good. One day AVCO hit $34 and some who shorted at $8, 9, 10 had to sweat a day or two. Now, it trades beyond $2!

Same applies to MZON. When one got in at $20, well, it hit $59 one day. It took awhile until it was under $20 again. But...

Nearly all of those runners can't sustain those elated prices, especially if the underlying business is not really a howler.

He also called it a dead screaming short at 56. It was overdone at 13, and somebody pulled a fast one. Simple as that. I will be interested in finding out who it was that said, "I'll take everything under 30, and split it up in small lots." Anybody have any pity on those fools that bought in the 50's and didn't stand a chance in hell of getting out over 40? They got screwed almost as hard, but that was their own stupidity. The call at 13 was a good call. This was just one of those crummy Wall Street plays. 80% of the people that played it got burned, and the other 20% are sitting there thinking, dang, I shouldn't have sold it in the 20's. By Tuesday, they will be glad they did.
