<There's a growing body of evidence available to all that the RMBS dream just isn't going to happen.>

Actually, I think it would be more accurate to say that there is a growing body of information available to all concerning RMBS, as RMBS becomes more widely known, and any person with a bias for or against the stock will be able to locate a growing amount of such information, and employ it to further his/her agenda.

It reminds me of a story that I heard a caller repeat yesterday on Dennis Prager's radio show. Usually, I hate these stories, but this one stuck with me:

A man arrived at the gates of a walled city, and asked the gatekeeper, "What kind of people will I find inside?" The gatekeeper asked him back, "What kind of people inhabited the city you just left?" The traveler replied, "Mostly nasty, pathetic people." The gatekeeper said, "Unfortunately, you'll find the same kind of people in here," and opened up the gates...

Soon, another man arrived at the gate and asked the gatekeeper, "What kind of people will I find inside?" The gatekeeper asked him back, "What kind of people inhabited the city you just left?" The traveler replied, "Mostly nice, friendly people." The gatekeeper told him, "Luckily, you'll find the same kind of people in here," and opened up the gates...

Ian, <They've deliberately chosen to scrap RMBS in the new game system.>

Yes, and Sony has chosen to use it in their upcoming Playstation 2. And the press has unanimously decided that PS2 will be an instant success.

It always amuses me when the anti-Rambus crowd brings up Nintendo's foregoing of Rambus as proof that the technology is dead. It's like Sony's acceptance of Rambus is a non-factor for some strange reason.

Ian,

you are not dense, I am merely inconcise. Nintendo is of course RMBS's first customer. They had planned to use it also in NTNDO II I believe, and then recently backed off. This I feel may be because of arch rival SONY`s intentions.
I have only a small remaining holding in RMBS, so am sitting on the fence watching. Having followed this stock for so long, and being a sentimentalist, I really am rooting for RMBS to succeed, but will wait for a definite move AFTER the market introduction before making a commitment.
