Hi Process Boy,

Are you in any position to comment on the Coppermine powerup issue.

I know that this is a design problem which is typical of new designs and this is being corrected. How has this affected the yields of the Coppermine ? Is the test for this problem a simple test, and will this test constrain the Coppermine shipments ? Or do you have to test only selected process lots ?

The gradual ramp-up of manufacturing, as opposed to the ON-OFF spigot mode of manufacture, is designed to weed-out such problems with minimal financial cost.

This thread values your contributions highly, unlike some other people who are only looking for confirmations of their predrawn conclusions.

Regards

Process Boy, wherefore are thou. Come tell us good things, bad things, or tell us like it is. We're getting tired of the denigrator "Floppermine" having migrated to this thread (or is it justified?). If you have a few minutes...
