<grump on> I'm not really looking for any of that "digerati" self-adulation stuff JC. I was just looking for the text of Rusty's Wired article that got yanked after a phone call from M$. My remark about who owns Wired was kind of a weak jest. I know it's Rosetto & Metcalfe's failed publication that styled itself as being at the vanguard of the new digital millenium and printed tables of contents you couldn't quite make out right up until their old-fashioned analog bank account dried up and they had to sell themselves to Conde Nast or some other white-shoe purveyor of magazines with scratch'n'sniff pictures of Alyssa Milano.

I've already seen so much of that butthole treacle over the years about how visionary these lucky f*ckers are, it makes drying paint seem fascinating by comparison. There's nothing that gives me a migraine like some beemer-driving geek referring in print to another beemer-driving geek as "spiritual". These twerps should get hip to Vipers.

At least McNealy is honest enough to admit that what gets him off is knocking people down and then hitting them with a stick...that's his brand of spirituality.<grump off>

But hey, thanks for the links! <g>
