Of course people will care- even during the great depression some people who owned stocks did well. HM mining did fantastic. Quaker Oats split several times. So even in financial collapse there is money to be made and there are good investments to be had.

Okay... I give it up... I have my rocket in the back yard and I'm all ready to go to the moon (even if it means catching up to the NAZ on the way).....

You have my attention... so, now.. I've carefully read your scenario.. what happens then...

Thanks in advance...

DAILY NASD Chart FROM 1-1-87 TO 2-9-00 W/ 200 dma updates.

(KIS, your post is linked on Arik's page as his post of the month.

It's now feb, so your post is obviously thought provoking to still be the POTM)

I'm not sure what effect these charts will have on you -g-

geocities.com

yes it's true we were 4 standard deviations above the 200 day moving average on the NASD, and were 46.69%
above the 200 dma on tuesday night as well.

I believe This is the highest % above the 200 dma
that we have ever been.

geocities.com

this is a log-scale chart so it should make us feel a bit better -g-
