Drew Carey Webcast a Hit... here are some excerpts from a pasadena star news article...can't find a link, so I will highlight some stuff. It's been a long time coming, but as you read this, about 200,000 Webheads are busily pawing through a dress rehearsal of Warner bros massive new web site, Entertaindom.com. This site debuts Monday...and a live webcast connected to Drew show. The Carey Webcast humorously showed a staggering 1.9 million fans online what was happening while he was out of the house... That was abut 15% of the network show's audience that night, and would have been the fourth largest audience on cable tv that night. But as the technology improves and more people get fast cable modems and DSL, expect to see more TV like experiences at Entertaindom. Thie site represents one of the first times a big player isn't just recycling old material or using it's site to market its old media properties and its success will help to shape how Hollywood approaches the NEt for some years to come. chris
