OPEN Q) There are lots of hints that HWP will say something fairly soon with some suggestion that they will split FC switching between Brocade for NT and ANCR for Unix . If this happens BRCD will boast they won the best part, but what would the truth as far as ports likely to be shipped be? Any help on this issue??

Some links for folks that have time to do some looking........

Unfailing application restoration: Clustering for the most robust open systems HA

HP MC/ServiceGuard?To further protect against downtime that results in lost production, missed orders, and forfeited revenues, HP offers the industry-leading application restoration software?HP MC/ServiceGuard. Companies worldwide have deployed more than 30,000 MC/ServiceGuard enterprise servers in the last four years.

A quote from recent Q result PR.........

Server results continue to be mixed. High-end UNIX© system servers posted excellent revenue growth, while the rest of our server lines, including NT, were essentially flat. Orders growth was up across all server lines.

Storage revenue was down, as expected, due to the continued transition to a new high-end storage strategy. Tape products had good revenue growth, while revenues declined moderately in CD-RWs, despite record unit growth, as the market continued to shift to low-end products.

Any help from those in the BIZ, or with friends, or anyone else? Thanks in advance. Come'on ANCR shift those SANs.
