Online chat support help: Launch myTrack. Click the 'chat' button at the top of the quote page, or alternatively, click the 'functions' button at the top of the window, then click the 'chat' option. Click the 'public' button at the bottom of the chat window, so that it is depressed. Maximixe the public window, the public chat window has a blue background, with white text. At the bottom, make sure it says 'say' in the left input box (the short one) then type a message into the right input box (the longer box) and press enter. Your message will appear in the blue public chat window. During business hours a myTrack host will answer and assist you. There are 21 chat channels available, several devoted to daytrading, plus channels devoted to the brokerage, excel link, AIQ, tech support, contest, market scan, European operations, etc. Channel 5 contains a 'bot (robot, computer response system) which contains an extensive glossary of investment terms. E.G., on chanel 5 ask it 'what is a ecn' ' what is an option' etc If you have multiple chat windows open, at the top of chat click 'windows' then 'tile horizontal' to see them all. We recommend a maximum of 4 open at once. If you have all 21 open, I suggest you close most of them, with 'x' in upper right corner of the window you want to close, then 'windows' and 'tile horizontal' again. You can also get email support, click the 'tell track' button at the top of the quote page, send a note to 'support'. You may also email support@tdc.com A final option to access the chat channels is from the 'live chat' button on the web site: www.mytrack.com. This allows you to access the public chat channel from a web browser, but if you have a mytrack account, it will run faster accessing it from within the myTrack program. Additional info: from the chat window, click on 'functions' at the top, then either 'view topics' or 'mail topics'. Lots of faq pages in there. Hope this helps. Regards, pewd 'HostPAUL'
