ADSP is receiving an astounding amount of press this weekend. . .that will attract a new set of buyers. . . .they are not concerned whether the stock is good or bad, or whether news is true or false, they just want a lottery ticket. The stock market has become a casino of sorts, and everyone wants to jump on whatever bandwagon is the most popular. At this point, I am amazed at how much publicity ADSP is receiving. . . this could heat up again, strictly by the amount of publicity it is getting. Remember. . .Good News + Bad News = Publicity . . and publicity attracts investors. Shorts will be divided this time around. . . and are already showing signs of fear. . .evident in the spamming on Yahoo and elsewhere. Again, nobody cares about wireless or not. . . just momentum.

I've got to tell you, if I were to place a bet . . .

[my only buys of ADSP were placed between $7.50 and $13.00, don't like chasing and still managed to lose money on the thing if you can imagine. . .currently holding no position and have no desire to hold position . . . but would certainly not go short under $100 with this much momentum]

. . . today as to whether ADSP was going to be higher or lower 30 minutes or so into trading. . . I'd have to say higher. . . .and if CNBC mentions it again, it is off to the races. . .it doesn't matter whether they mention it positively or negatively. . . again, nobody cares. .. after all this publicity out today on ADSP, I would say the only thing that will stop it is the market bottoming out or an SEC halt. I just sincerely hope and pray nobody goes on a rampage after losing their homes in margin calls.

Retail king right now, I agree. And my ANF is among the best values, and about to fly. Bloomberg just wrote an article about the hot Xmas shopping season and made a big point about ANF's fashions being the hottest along with Old Navy which GPS owns. ANF a much better value that GPS. Higher earnings and ten points lower PE. URBN another steal here. - But don't dump all your techs. Some are still values, primarily UIS at PE 18, IBM PE 24 and some of the other sold-off software companies like IMRS (lagging on "bad" news). I expect to keep making money on these type stocks right through any sell-offs. They're already near their bottoms with nothing but great earnings and other news coming out. Etailers too for a bounce now, playing BNBN, BYND, LE and BAMM. Tis the season to be jolly I think, but not for high-fliers which have already flown.
