I've wondered about the same thing myself, as regards the OFDM question.

To my uninformed eye, the Cisco/Clarity VOFDM initiative looked almost preemptive in nature. Certain remarks, to paraphrase, that they will have to execute perfectly, that they're late to the game, reinforce that belief.

That particular question aside, one wonders how far Cisco can go before the strategy falters.
