I agree with your assessment!

It has been a remarkable turnaround in AMD performance in the past 6 months. Absolutely no reason to believe this positive trend for AMD isn't going to accelerate throughout Y2000. Flash memory is sold out through Q4 and flash bit revenues are expected to increase 70% qtr to qtr throughout Y2000. Athlon is "here and now" as in readily available in the retail channel, having sailed through all arm's-length benchmark testing with straight A pluses and implied outstanding yields, given the apparent ease in bringing the 750MHz to market tomorrow.

Once the "big guys" jump on AMD (and they will, they've already started to), I'm looking for it to run further and faster than the elmers of the world think possible.
