Tenchusatsu:
I examined Gateway's delayed 820 chipset mobo to see if was Intel design. The position of and jumper number of BIOS configuration jumper J7B1 is identical. Gateway was depending entirely on Intel and Intel screwed up. Let's hope that all the OEM's that use Intel mobo's get back on the Bus when VC820 is widely available.

ten, the point isn't that advancements shouldn't be made. the point is that the economic benefits are much less than the current cost differential.

i will boldly go into the future... when that piii 750 loaded with all sorts of gizmos is $750.

but, this isn't about me. it is about a magazine that is telling its subscribers (home business folks) that upgrading money IS NOT well spent right now.
