I had been using AT&T for most of the last two years. I found at times AT&T just seemed to crawl. I switched to earthlink.net (Sprint) about 10 days ago and have found much faster access. I will have to admit that the main reason I switched was the 2,300 local access numbers in the USA. AT&T's 1-800 number was tearing me up on the road! The improved access speed was a bonus. As for SI, I find SI slow at times when other sites seem to load okay. I am not sure all of SI problems can be blamed on the Internet as a whole.
