during the long holiday weekend, I had the opportunity to attend a number of parties. I was amazed at how many people started using the internet for shopping this weekend. As you all know, the day after t-giving is the busiest shopping day of the year.

It was interesting to me, how many people decided to use the net to shop this year in order to avoid the crowds. Everyone I spoke to was happy with their experience (as well as happily surprised with the prices they found)and willing to shop on the net again. I bet the nets do very well tomorrow.

With regard to GNET, I find their comparison shopping to be lacking over other sites. I hate to say it, but Yahoo prob. has the best online shopping site for comparison purposes in my opinion. The people I spoke to want to be able to type in the name of a product and be able to find a number of merchants that sell that product with their prices listed from lowest to highest for comparison purposes.

Time and again I heard people singing the praises of pricescan.com and Yahoo. I told as many as I could about Go2net, but I must admit their comparison shopping is lacking (in my opinion) to these sites. Do others agree??
