SteveR, williams% in most cases is a leading indicator, if its going up - the price should be going up shortly after and if its pointing down it should be coming down in price soon too. Now, what I have found is if williams% goes over the -50line and heads upwards towards 0 and the price has not risen yet , the longer the stagnant price while W% is above zero means the larger the spike when it does come.
Sort of like the MM's accumulating then letting it go like an elastic band!
Williams % does not do this for all stocks, sometimes it acts just like stochastic, but some stocks show our news detecting criteria.
These stocks were above normal gains

having pre-chosen stocks from goldenlists.com with submission ownership shown for all to see , we get great no-hype picks which I try and narrow down as the big day comes along.
If you check back on the thread you will see some stocks we posted and news came next day or so showing our method caught insider buying.
I have linked the "LIST" posts together to get continuance.
The web site makes 0 dollars in income, in fact it costs Jim and SSP money to keep it going.
