Here's a possible special situation:

Amisk (AS.A on the TSE)

--trading at $2.15; book value is $3.76 (with a big chunk of that in cash)

Usually, I would think that a holding company trading at such a discount is no big deal; however, they've just announced their intentions to pay a .30/sh annual dividend (0.075 quarterly). How long can a company with this kind of payout remain below $3.00? Not long, I'd suggest.

I have a small position.

TRT is progressing nicely. A major payment is scheduled for Dec. 31st. Might spike another 10-20 cents if that goes according to plan.
