Jenna, need your help. Just heard about the CSCO story about if you bought 100 shares at IPO and held would be worth over $1,000,000 today.
Reminded me that I need to put away some stock into a long term (10+ years) portfolio.
Please critique my ideas for a CSCO type stock that will cash in on the future(10 years) boom in internet/technology boom:
UPS - will be transporting this ecommerce
CSCO - will it continue to show the past growth
SUNW - poised to take some of MSFT's market share

What are your additional ideas?
I am a small investor and can only put away 100 shares of something.
Jim (Gerlach rhymes with Sherlock)

If you are still interested in NSATF......

NSATF, a top distributor of DirecTV services in addition to their satellite equipment line:

"Hughes stock (traded as GM, class H) has more than doubled this year to 85, including a three-point rise last week, because Wall Street is enthusiastic about Hughes' fast-growing satellite-TV unit, DirecTV, which dominates the industry and should get a further fillip from legislation expected to be signed by President Clinton Monday to permit satellite broadcasters to beam local TV stations' signals.
