I think Holmgren should have been pounding it up the middle after it became apparent that was the way. The Seahawks were stronger up front but the speed of TB killed the outside runs and passing game.

Kitna looks like the bewildered rookie. I'll take my crow hot.

Again the most frustrating thing was that Holmgren didn't come out in the second half and simply grind the ball down TB's throats.

It should have been Watters, then Brown, then Watters, then Brown... you get the picture. I don't see how you can be down 6-3 and your passing game is terrible yet you're gaining five yards on first down up the middle, then passing on second down? Why not run it up the middle again?

Holmgren has been outcoached by Ross, Riley, and now Dungy.

To be honest, I'm a bit weary of this vicarious living.
