Truedog, I read that verse in another version of the Bible. I have about 7 different versions that I use mainly for comparison and better understanding. Anyhow, a couple of the versions have the first sentence as, "But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed." I take it to mean that the Lord will give us the strength to do, or get through, whatever we have to. Even when we feel overwhelmed and weary He will renew our strength. And since you do trust in the Lord, He will pick up the slack, so to speak, when you need Him to. But that's just what I think. It my have a completely different meaning for you. I suppose it will be revealed at the proper time.

I looked up the word "Wait" in the dictionary. And there are many definitions. But there were two that kind of jumped out at me;

2)to be available or in readiness.

5)to look forward to eagerly.
