The Bible teaches predestination. It is irrefutable truth.

Jesus spoke of it very often. It is a main point of Christian thought and Salvation... It is not the only point however.

There is an ordained process that God has put in place.

There are "means"

RE>>The book with the names in it was already written. Why worry about it when your fate was sealed before the creation of the world?<<

God ordains very simple means..

One is hearing the Gospel "CALL"

The Call is to Repent and Believe !

Another is to LIVE GODLY

Another is to confess before men your Belief in Jesus and His Holy Word.

We do not simply continue in sinful living and wait until we see who was chosen.
If there is no Born-again experience, or any repentance from sin, or faith in Christ Jesus, then they are not the elect nor chosen...

Men are not just ELECTED to HEAVEN they are elected to the whole process of santification and belief in Christ. Their whole life is planned from start to finish before birth and everything that happens to them is ordained for their ultimate good even those things which are evil.

The true Christian Faith recognizes that God is not like a man who faces surprises every day but rather one who has ordained for the earth to orbit the sun and for every molecule to be where it should be at any given moment in time. God is in COMPLETE CONTROL and works all things after the council of HIS OWN WILL !

Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

You have to see the WHOLE PICTURE.. not just the fact that everything is ordained to happen as He wills.
