Of course, there will always be interpretations and interpretations!
(Example: Last winter, out in the open somewhere, at one time when the temperature was -20 degrees, someone presumed I had lost one mitt when he saw I had only one mitt. He was stunned when I told him,
"Oh no, I found one!")

While you presume GATA will never find the evidence because "it does not exist", GATA should not be faulted for trying. One never knows what they may come up with. As a person with a scientific background, I believe all leads must be pursued to reach a reasonable conclusion. One should not simplistically or arrogantly pooh-pooh others' efforts.

The history of science is replete with accounts of missed opportunities when the wrong interpretations were dogmatically adhered to. Example: In 1936 Chadwick won the Nobel Prize for his discovery of the neutron. Two researchers in France (the Curies) missed sharing the Nobel Prize because they had a different (and wrong) interpretation of the same evidence.

I agree that many countries have been playing the derivatives market for their benefit at various times. But the horrendously excessive pummeling that gold has endured cannot but leads one to the inescapable conclusion that a sinister conspiracy has been going on for a long time. And it appears the discovery came as an sudden apperception to certain individuals.

"People are duped en mass, but enlightened individually".
