I wouldn't be surprised if this were the case....

I fully expect CPQ to move nicely this week...more so if CSCO is somehow involved.

I know everyone went negative last week, but I was fully expecting a pullback from the shot to 27+. Now that profit taking is almost done, more institutional buyers are back from holiday mindset and will begin accumulating again.

From a Research Report just received (any comments ??):

The latest edition of Client/Server News indicates that both Compaq and Dell may be well into discussions with Intergraph about purchasing Intergraph's computer operations, ICS. For some time, Intergraph has noted that it needs to divest ICS as well as its graphics unit in order to try to return to profitability after years of losses. According to Client/Server News, the interest lies in the high end of Intergraph's workstation business, which sells to the same types of high-performance customers in the digital media market as does Silicon Graphics. One of the sticking points may involve valuing the graphics unit, which could be part of the deal. This would not be expected to be a material event for any prospective buyers.
